On 26th January 2019, 20 of our students participated in the volunteering function “鄰舍團年飯” organized by the The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Group. Not only did they serve as the helpers of each table welcoming the participants, they also helped in the preparation work in making the souvenirs for the guests. They attended a briefing the day before and made a “Lamp” by setting circuit and building the scaffold of it by applying the knowledge of STEM. On the day of volunteering, they welcomed the elderly, children and other participants by warm smiles and enjoyed the meal with them as a family. That was a shiny day with laughters and their participation and contribution were highly appreciated.
