Joint School Pilgrimage to Macau
2023-07-06 (Thursday)
Category : School Activity
The joint school pilgrimage to Macau held on 6th July, 2023 was a transformative experience for Catholic students from our school, St. Joan of Arc Secondary School and Shung Tak Catholic English College seeking spiritual growth.
The theme of the pilgrimage was “Come and Follow, Go and Witness”. The pilgrimage included visits to several significant religious sites, including the Ruins of Saint Paul's, St. Dominic's Church, Holy House of Mercy of Macau, and Our Lady of Sorrows Church. These sites offer a rich history and cultural significance that deepen the students' understanding of the Catholic faith. By visiting these sites and engaging in interfaith dialogue with other Catholic students, the students have developed a sense of community and connection with their faith. Through the journey, they were encouraged to reflect on their own beliefs and spiritual growth. The pilgrimage provided a unique opportunity for students to deepen their faith and connect with other young Catholics, fostering a sense of community and connection.
